Coins Policy

1. Definitions
Coins are internal digital units made available within the Service solely for access to and interaction with Digital Entertainment Experiences and related platform functionality. Coins have no monetary, transferable or redeemable value and have no independent use outside the Closed Ecosystem of the relevant Website.
User means an individual who accesses or uses Viatrelis or Viatrelia in accordance with the Terms of Service and, where applicable, creates an Account, selects an Access Package or uses Coins within the relevant Service.
Websites means viatrelis.com and viatrelia.com, both operated by INTERNATIONAL STUDIO LIMITED. Each Website operates as a separate Closed Ecosystem for Coins. Coins allocated through Viatrelis may be used only within Viatrelis, and Coins allocated through Viatrelia may be used only within Viatrelia.
Access Package means a package of digital entertainment content and Service functionality made available for purchase through the relevant Website and which includes an allocation of Coins as displayed before payment.
Digital Entertainment Experience means an entertainment feature, interactive experience or other digital content made available through the relevant Website for recreational use.
Closed Ecosystem means the internal digital environment of the relevant Website within which Coins may be allocated and used. Coins cannot be transferred between the Websites, between Users or to any external platform, wallet or third party.
Capitalised terms not defined in this Coins Policy have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service.
2. Purpose and Scope
This Coins Policy explains the rules governing the allocation, use, validity, adjustment, expiration, cancellation and other treatment of Coins made available through Viatrelis and Viatrelia.
Coins exist solely as part of the digital entertainment functionality of the relevant Website. They may be used only for the purposes made available within that Website and subject to this Coins Policy, the Terms of Service and Fair Play Policy.
This Policy applies specifically to Coins and their use within the Service. General rules concerning Account registration, payments, refunds, Digital Entertainment Experiences, prohibited conduct, Account suspension or termination and processing of personal data are addressed in the Terms of Service, Fair Play Policy and Privacy Policy, as applicable.
Nothing in this Coins Policy permits or creates monetary gambling, betting or wagering. Coins cannot be staked for money or money's worth and cannot result in cash winnings, prizes, payouts, withdrawals or any other financial or economic return.
Coins allocated through Viatrelis and Coins allocated through Viatrelia remain separate. Use of both Websites by the same User does not create a shared Coins balance and does not permit Coins to be transferred, combined or exchanged between the Websites.
3. Nature and Status of Coins
Coins are internal digital units made available solely for use within the Closed Ecosystem of the relevant Website. They form part of the digital entertainment functionality provided by INTERNATIONAL STUDIO LIMITED and have no independent function outside the Service.
Coins are not money, electronic money, cryptocurrency, stored value, prepaid monetary value, a payment instrument, financial asset, financial product or substitute for cash. They do not constitute funds held for or on behalf of a User and do not represent a bank account, payment account, wallet or stored monetary balance.
Coins do not give a User any right to receive money, money's worth, cryptocurrency, goods, services outside the Service, gift cards, discounts, prizes, payouts, financial returns or anything else having monetary or economic value.
Coins cannot be withdrawn, redeemed, cashed out, exchanged, sold, gifted, pledged or transferred to another User or third party. They cannot be moved to an external wallet or platform, traded through a secondary market or converted into another form of digital or physical value.
Coins do not constitute a debt or monetary liability owed by INTERNATIONAL STUDIO LIMITED to a User and do not create a claim for their nominal or perceived value.
Any references within the Service to Coins, balances, allocations, use, progress or similar concepts describe internal digital functionality only and must not be interpreted as indicating monetary ownership, stored funds, redeemability or financial value.
The fact that Coins are allocated as part of an Access Package does not change their status. A User pays for an Access Package and the associated digital entertainment content and functionality; the payment is not a deposit, stake, wager, transfer into a wallet or acquisition of stored monetary value.
4. Allocation and Use of Coins
Coins are allocated to a User's Account as an internal component of an Access Package following successful payment confirmation through the relevant Payment Provider.
The number of Coins allocated as part of an Access Package will be displayed before payment. The User purchases the Access Package and associated digital entertainment content and functionality. Coins are allocated as part of that digital Service and are not purchased or held as money or stored value.
Once allocated, Coins may be used only through the relevant Website for Digital Entertainment Experiences or other internal functionality made available for that purpose.
Coins allocated through Viatrelis may be used only within Viatrelis. Coins allocated through Viatrelia may be used only within Viatrelia. INTERNATIONAL STUDIO LIMITED does not provide any mechanism for transferring, combining or exchanging Coins between the Websites.
A User receives only a limited personal right to use allocated Coins within the relevant Service in accordance with this Coins Policy, the Terms of Service and Fair Play Policy. Coins do not create ownership rights in money, property or another financial or transferable asset.
Coins are intended solely for personal and non-commercial entertainment use. Users must not attempt to monetise Coins, establish or participate in a secondary market, transfer Coins or Accounts, exploit technical errors affecting Coins allocations or use Coins in a manner inconsistent with the intended operation of the Service.
Where Coins are allocated incorrectly because of a technical error, duplicate transaction, refund, reversal, chargeback, prohibited conduct or other circumstances addressed in the Terms of Service or this Coins Policy, INTERNATIONAL STUDIO LIMITED may correct the relevant internal Service records and adjust or remove affected Coins where reasonably necessary.
5. User Restrictions and Obligations
Coins may be used only within the Closed Ecosystem of the Website through which they were allocated and only for the internal digital entertainment functionality made available by that Website.
Users must not sell, transfer, gift, exchange, trade, pledge, withdraw, redeem or otherwise make Coins available to another User or third party. Coins must not be moved to or used through another website, external platform, wallet, marketplace or secondary market.
Users must not attempt to convert Coins into money, cryptocurrency, goods, services, gift cards, discounts or anything else having monetary or economic value.
Coins allocated through Viatrelis must not be transferred to or used through Viatrelia, and Coins allocated through Viatrelia must not be transferred to or used through Viatrelis.
Users must not manipulate or interfere with Coins allocations, balances, deductions or related Service records, exploit technical errors or unintended functionality, use bots, scripts or automated tools in connection with Coins, or circumvent technical, contractual, Account, eligibility or security restrictions.
Users must not create or operate duplicate or multiple Accounts for the purpose of obtaining Coins or Service functionality in a manner not intended by the Service, avoiding restrictions or concealing prohibited conduct.
Use of Coins must comply with this Coins Policy, the Terms of Service and the Fair Play Policy.
Where INTERNATIONAL STUDIO LIMITED reasonably identifies misuse, manipulation, technical exploitation, unauthorised activity or another material breach affecting Coins, it may investigate the relevant activity and take proportionate measures in accordance with the Terms of Service and Fair Play Policy. Such measures may include restricting Coins functionality, correcting internal Service records, adjusting or removing affected Coins, suspending an Account or terminating access to the Service.
Any adjustment or removal of Coins will relate only to internal digital Service records and does not constitute confiscation of money, stored funds or other financial value.
6. Validity, Expiry and Loss of Coins
Coins remain available for use only while they are valid within the relevant Website and subject to the applicable Terms of Service, this Coins Policy and any validity information displayed in connection with the relevant Access Package.
Where a specific validity or expiry period applies to Coins, that period will be communicated through the relevant Website, Access Package or other applicable Service information before or at the time the relevant Coins are allocated.
Account inactivity does not by itself cause Coins to expire unless a specific inactivity or validity rule applicable to those Coins has been clearly communicated through the relevant Website or Access Package.
Coins that expire in accordance with an applicable validity period may be removed from the relevant Account and will no longer be available for use. Expired Coins do not give rise to a right to cash payment, redemption, replacement or compensation.
Coins may also cease to be available where an Account is closed, suspended or terminated, where Coins are affected by a refund, reversal or chargeback, where they were allocated as a result of an error, or where adjustment or removal is permitted under the Terms of Service, Fair Play Policy or this Coins Policy.
Where an Account is suspended temporarily, INTERNATIONAL STUDIO LIMITED may restrict access to Coins while the suspension remains in effect. The treatment of Coins following permanent termination or Account closure will be determined in accordance with the Terms of Service and the circumstances giving rise to the closure or termination.
Where Coins are removed because of fraud, misuse, technical manipulation, an incorrect allocation or another breach of the applicable policies, the User is not entitled to monetary compensation for those Coins.
Nothing in this Section limits any mandatory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Payments, Refunds and Payment Disputes
Payments made through Viatrelis or Viatrelia relate to Access Packages and the associated digital entertainment content and Service functionality. They are not deposits, stakes, wagers or purchases of stored monetary value.
The number of Coins allocated as part of an Access Package will be displayed before payment, and the Coins will be allocated through the relevant Website following successful completion of the applicable payment process.
Coins themselves cannot be redeemed, exchanged or reimbursed for money, cryptocurrency or any other form of monetary or economic value.
The fact that Coins have been allocated or used does not create a right to a refund based on the outcome, progress or result of a Digital Entertainment Experience.
Refund requests relating to an Access Package will be considered only in accordance with the Terms of Service, applicable consumer law and any relevant Payment Provider, acquiring bank or card scheme process.
Where applicable law provides a cancellation right for digital content or digital services, that right may be affected where the User has expressly requested immediate supply and acknowledged the legal consequences of beginning performance before the end of the applicable cancellation period.
Where a payment is refunded, reversed, cancelled or successfully charged back, INTERNATIONAL STUDIO LIMITED may adjust or remove Coins allocated in connection with that payment and correct the corresponding internal Service records where reasonably necessary.
A User must not initiate or participate in a fraudulent, misleading or abusive refund, reversal or chargeback process. Suspected misuse of payment-dispute mechanisms may be investigated and addressed in accordance with the Terms of Service and Fair Play Policy.
Nothing in this Coins Policy excludes or restricts any refund, cancellation, chargeback or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Availability and Changes to Coins Functionality
INTERNATIONAL STUDIO LIMITED may modify, limit, suspend or discontinue Coins functionality where reasonably necessary because of changes to the Service, technical requirements, security concerns, legal or regulatory requirements, Payment Provider requirements, operational changes or discontinuation of particular Digital Entertainment Experiences or platform functionality.
Changes may affect how Coins are allocated, displayed, used, deducted or otherwise administered within the relevant Website.
INTERNATIONAL STUDIO LIMITED may also correct technical or administrative errors affecting Coins allocations or internal Service records and may temporarily restrict Coins functionality while an error, security issue, payment dispute or suspected misuse is investigated.
Any material change affecting existing Coins will be implemented in accordance with the Terms of Service, applicable law and any mandatory consumer rights.
Where INTERNATIONAL STUDIO LIMITED permanently discontinues Coins functionality or materially changes the Service, the treatment of valid unused Coins will be determined in accordance with the Terms of Service, applicable law and any notice provided in connection with the relevant change.
Changes affecting Viatrelis do not automatically affect Coins allocated through Viatrelia, and changes affecting Viatrelia do not automatically affect Coins allocated through Viatrelis. Each Website remains a separate Closed Ecosystem.
An update to this Coins Policy does not give Coins monetary or redeemable value and does not create any right to transfer Coins between the Websites, Users or external platforms.
